**Val has wandered into one of the least likely places she'd be; the clothing store. Her journal is tucked under her arm. She's sorting through the clothing as if she were looking for something but, she can't quite find what she's looking for.

More specifically, she doesn't know what she's looking for. All she's sure of is she wants something new. Something different and special.**

Ahh, would anyone know what sort of clothing isn't easily torn?

[A look of shock flashes over Nel's face as she realizes who she just bumped into. "How long has it been?" is the first thought on her mind.] Val!

[Unfortunately, she's having quite a bit of trouble trying to form a coherent sentence after that.] I... I'm surprised to see you.

**For a good while, Val simply stares at Nel, both and extremely happy to see the woman.**

Until Kirimi mentioned you, I'd thought you had left. I haven't seen you si-- **Val's gaze quickly turns back to the clothing, her face turning bright red.**

[She drops her head a bit at that.] I'm sorry about that. I just... didn't know how to approach you, after... After. [She's pretty sure she doesn't need to explain more than that.]

**She definitely remembers. She can still clearly replay the scene in her mind, and ends up doing so now. As if her face could get any redder.**

I... I've missed you...

[She bites her lip at that, eyes looking at the floor, then glances back up at her through her hair.]

I've missed you too... It's just... it was so awkward, I didn't know what to say... I still don't, not really.

**She's silent for a while, again.**

I... It shouldn't have happened like that, but, I... I don't regret it at all...

I... **She turns to face Nel.** I really do care about you.

[Her face lifts up, just a little.]

Kirimi... she asked me if I loved you, a while back. I told her... I didn't know. Even now, my answer's the same.

But... I do know that I care for you. That I'm happy when you're happy. That I enjoy being with you. That it's nice... really nice every chance I get to talk to you. So... even if I don't know how I feel, I don't want to be separated from you. Is that... Is that okay?

**Had the thought crossed her mind, she'd have loved to ask Nel to move in with her. After all, what else would keep the two girls closer than sharing the same house?**

**Val turned toward Nel, lifting her arms and dropping her journal on the floor. She had a better mind about her actions and gently placed her hands on Nel's neck and shoulders. She smiled, wanting to speak, but, words just weren't forming.**

[She'd have to talk to Lilynette about it, but the idea would have interested her...

She looks Valvalis in the eyes when she feels those hands on her.] Val... [After a moment, she steps forward and lifts her own arms up to hug her in turn.]

**Had it not been for that hug, Valvalis would have fallen into a kiss with the arrancar. Following Nel's motion, she closed her arms into a hug.**

You... don't want to be apart from me... Nel~

I like your company. [She presses her cheek into Val's shoulder.] It's... comforting.

**Val runs her hand through Nel's hair. Fortunately, they're close to the same height.**

Nel... Would you like to come stay with me for a few days? I... **No no, don't think like that** I'm sure Kirimi would love to see you too.

I... [She thinks that over for a little bit.] I'd like to, but... I have someone I'm looking after. A young girl from my world by the name of Lilynette. She's not so helpless as Kirimi, but leaving her on her own worries me.

**Val nods, smiling.** I understand. We should try to see eachother more often. It's been far too long...

We'll have our chance soon enough... I'll make sure of it.

**Val leans in a little closer.** Would it be okay if... I...
