**Finally, a day without monsters.

But, it's not like all the problems are over with. Val moves out of bed and... just about falls out of it. There's a nice thud in the house, and a very young yelp. The journal flips to the floor just the same.**

Oh my... this again? Can't have a day's peace, can we? Well, I always thought I was a cute child.

Mmm, I'm Kirimi's size again. I'll have to see about borrowing some of her clothes for now. I just might go see everyone anyway.

**And so, after getting dressed properly, a girl of short stature and floor-trailing hair is wandering about, floating on a nice breeze. (Looks surprisingly like this girl though.) Anyone is encouraged to interrupt her adventure to see anyone she knows (Golbez, Nel, Ceodore, Charlotte)

[Kirimi, well, actually Umehito. Kirimi is his older sister. Creepy older sister, who he still loves a lot nonetheless. 'Umehito' is around 10. He was rather puzzled by the lack of his clothes in the wardrobe when he woke up this morning but has since dealt with that.

Anyway, he's about to make breakfast as usual and pokes his head in Val's room to see what she wants.]

Val-nee-sama! What do you want for breakfast?

[Well, here's someone Val knows, though dressed decidedly differently than she's used to seeing. Adell is wearing a lot of formal, noble's wear, mostly in black with gold trim. His ridiculous, flowing red tie has been replaced with a normal, conservative one, too.

He hasn't yet noticed Valvalis yet, and he appears to be on his way to the library.]

**Val turns to greet the voice but, while the speech patters are the same, it's not the same voice, or body, that she was expecting to turn to.**

Uhm... and whom are you? **She floats over, trying to look past the door to see if Kirimi was behind the boy.**

**And she notices his fancy new clothes. But, the face is the same, so it's not as if Adell will just get past her.**

My my, aren't we dressed fancy today?

[Well, upon closer inspection, his face has changed slightly too. His scars appear to be missing, and his pupils are now pearl instead of black... but otherwise, he looks the same.

He turns to face the floating girl, and he draws a blank expression for a moment. He studies her for a long moment... trying to place her in his memories. Eventually it clicks into place, though he's still obviously sounding in confused in his nobleman's tone.]

Lady Valvalis? Is that you? Why have you taken the form of a child?

I asked you first, Adell?

Hmmm, it wasn't by choice. I woke up this way. I'd been like this once before, some time ago, so it's really nothing shocking.

[There is one grouchy teenager that Valvalis should recognize tromping through the village with a sour expression on his face. Armor's different from what she expects too, but shouldn't be too unfamiliar as it's common issue dark knight, standard for all the Red Wings. He's so engrossed in his own brooding thoughts, he doesn't even spot the miniaturized cousin floating nearby.]

As you say, then... good to know someone hasn't completely lost their mind today.

[He pauses, then shifts his weight.]

But I find your question curious. I always dress in a manner befitting a noble of my station.

A noble? Well well, I never knew. You always dressed so casually~

Have others 'gone crazy'? I noticed my little Kirimi seems to think she's her brother, but, she acts just the same.

**She never knew Cecil as a Dark Knight, so, she won't confuse father and son. It's the face as she moves to catch up that makes her recognize him.**

Ceodore? Playing dress-up today? **Just who is this cute little girl?**

Huh?

[Who is this kid? That's a great way to break up a hefty brooding session.]

**Of course she wouldn't be recognized. Which, makes this a great time to pick on him.

She's suddenly right in his face, hugging him around the neck.**

I missed you so much, daddy!

WHAT?! I'm not your father, get off of me.

[Apparently a bad attitude comes with the armor. He's trying to pry this pesky child off of him now.]

**Good luck with that. But, after some pushing, she'll give up on her own.**

But... but my daddy wore armor just like that... And has hair like yours... He even named me after his cousin...

You... you don't remember me anymore, daddy? **Playing the pity card... OH SO WELL!**

Stop. That. Who are you? Who do you belong to?

[His patience with this child is wearing thin.]

Casually? Do not tell me you thought I dressed in the clothing of a common thug for this long. But this is the sort of thing that's gone crazy.

People do not remember things right. I've always been Prince Adell of Veldime. My father is the Overlord. I have made this abundantly clear to all who know me. My title is a very important part of a proper introduction, after all.

[...No he's not. And no he wasn't.]

Really now Ceodore? I expected at least you to fall for the sob act. **Hoshi- That's a turnaround!**

It's Valvalis. I've... well, I suppose this is what I'd look like if I actually were a child. Cute, isn't it? **Now THAT sounds like your cousin.**

[Here's your father figure, Val! He's walking along with a smile on his face (smiling icons of Golbez don't exist, so... just pretend), which one can actually see because...

He's not wearing a helmet! Gasp! Shock! Disbelief!]

I wouldn't call the clothing thug-ish. It seemed casual enough for me.

But, I'm really not liking this attitude of yours. You can't expect me to remember things about you that you've never told me about. **She folds her arms all angrily, but, can't help but looking cute doing it.** Alright then Prince Adell, I'll play along.

What do you think if my new look?

**The rest of the armor is there but... ZOMG A FACE. Val MUST investigate.**

Ahh... G-Golbez?

Valvalis? Wait, what happened to you?

[So he's not going to snap her neck anymore, yet. He's not too thrilled with the phony daddy act, but everyone else has been strange today already.]

And I don't find your little joke funny.

[He turns his head to see her... and sighs.]

Even you know me by that name, my daughter?

[This day has been awfully strange so far, and it's only getting weirder as Nel stumbles upon child-Val. She feels the same, and that's definitely wind she's gliding on, but...]

Is that... you, Valvalis?

Really? **That gets a blank stare.** That's not like you. Matter of factly, you're not really acting yourself at all.

You're acting more like your father every day. I don't like this Ceodore... **A genuine look of concern... Don't be a meanie-face like Cecil.**

**A truly amazed stare. Her father... WITHOUT HIS HELMET ON!

Pardon her while she stands there, mouth agape...

Feel free to snap her out of that.**
