Oh dear... I seem to have missed my birthday. Hmm, well, it's not as though it will be my last. It's only my third after all

**Val holds her hand out to Ami.** Surely just seeing it won't satisfy you?

But-! [Ok, how to nicely say this? Val may be gorgeous, but she's not exactly the muscled type you'd expect to be carrying people]

Is it really alright? You can lift me?

I'm far stronger than I look. I promise. **And not only does she give Ami a gentle tug into her arms, she lifts her up, cradled her and rises into the air!**

[Ami gives a little yelp of surprise and squeezes her eyes shut. But once she dares to open them, she's smiling; whether from the sensation of flight or the view from a bit higher up.]

You didn't warn me!

I'm sorry dear. I do forget that sometimes. But I won't drop you at all. **Val doesn't go anywhere in particular, but just flies around, letting Ami get a view of Luceti from above.

[She believes you, Val! Just... uh... warning next time, kay?]

It's pretty from up here. It's hard to believe everything that happens in Luceti, looking at it like this.

I never put that much thought into it. Im so used to seeing things from above.

But, this is home, despite what happens around here.

No. It's not home. I need to go back eventually.

Perhaps not for most here, but I was dead before I was brought here. I imagine being sent home would be just the same as killing me.

And I've met so many wonderful people here, its hard for me to think about others returning to where they belong without getting upset.

But that just means our situations are very different.

Something bad happened in my world before I came here. I have to go back, to make sure it won't keep going.

Don't you have any friends who could tell you what happened? Anyone from your future perhaps?

[She shakes her head.] No. But it's alright. I'll go back, and I'll find a way.

Above or throuh it? **No matter the answer, Valvalis is on her way there, and fairly low altitude too**

We can fly through, but...**Val moves up higher above them. Has Ami even noticed how much hair is flapping behind her?**

[Of course she notices! It's very pretty.]

It's like an amusement park ride!

**Val will slow down a bit...?** What's... that?

They go fast, like this. And some of them go very high up. But they're vehicles; it's not the same as flying.

So, they're airships you ride for fun?

It's different from that. They're still connected to the ground. It's... it's just fun to feel the movement. [And she has nice memories of the one near her home.]

Maybe its something you have to experience to understand?
