Action: House 51

[[Everything was nice and right in House 51 once again! "Daddy" Golbez was alive and kicking (again), and was it ever fun to see him react in such a manner. Kirimi had just come back as well! And she even got to beat up on Kain for a good bit.

That was almost the best part, actually... almost.

In any case, Val thought she'd try something special, now that the family was back together! Cooking.

Granted, she's never done this before so... this is just ripe for disaster. And she was trying to stick with something so simple as well, pancakes. Trying to stir the batter seemed easy enough, considering she could just use the wind for that, but... she ends up splattering much of it about the kitchen.

And then cooking them... That was it's own disaster... smoking up the kitchen... At least Valvalis can blow the smoke out of the house! But, who knows what people may think about that! And people should know this is the house Kirimi lives in!]]

I expect you over for breakfast. That is an order, from your big sister.

[Being called pretty with honesty is still something she is getting used to without blushing. Not something completely averse to, though.]

... It was interesting. [A new experience, in any case. Even if it was with a shameless flirt. Not that she'll abandon the organization of her military lifestyle any time soon.] I'm not used to think that way, to be honest. Practical comes easier to me.

This looks great. [The pancakes that aren't burned, that is. She wanders near a chair.] Can I sit?

[Daisy takes a mouthful of the pancakes. Gives an excuse to stop talking as she gets used to talking a lot.

[Daisy is unsure how to take it. Valvalis is happy with what she had done... Even when holding hands might not seem much to people other than Spartans, and children. The taller girl slowly nods.]

I like him. [She pauses. In civilian language, "like" can mean romantic attration.] As a friend. He is odd, but he is good.

[She turns to Valvalis, serving herself another pancake.]

Holding hands. It's common? What else is done in a date?

Oh, is that all? Hmm... well, I don't know myself. I've never gone on a real "date" like that. Though, I suppose Nel and I got rather intimate rather quickly.

[Daisy looks at her. Then again, Val would've had many more ideas. She serves herself a pancake with a slice of butter and maple syrup, and takes a bite.]

It was fun. But I'm still getting used to being close, to be honest.

[Physical closeness, something Spartans don't do often. Still, part of the things that are changing in her, Daisy realizes.]

I think I've grown a lot already. [She knows what Valvalis means, though.] I'll pace myself... But I think I promised another friend a date.

Met him in March, when I first used the Battle Dome. I never thought he'd look at me that way.
